    I received a free month of GP PC so I installed a bunch of games to an external hard drive thinking it would work well to play them off of. Unfortunately, games load way too slow so not going to use it

    I bought an internal SSD and just copied everything over manually to it and then formatted the external since I'm returning it to the store

    Some files/folders couldn't be moved, even with a third-party tool, so I skipped them and ended up with:

    .'Program Files' folder with 'ModifiableWindowsApps' folder inside but empty

    .'WindowsApps' folder but can't access it

    .*'XboxGames' folder with all of the games I downloaded and each of those folders have a 'Content' folder with stuff for the games

    *(The 'XboxGames' folder had a different name which I chose but I changed it to XboxGames after moving it to the new internal drive)

    Now, the Xbox app doesn't see any games installed except two that I installed not on the external

    Did I just mess everything up and would have to re-install everything again? I, unfortunately, live in an area where we have a data cap and all of the downloads together equal more than a terabyte which is not something I feel I can do again unless I micromanage the downloads

    Is there a way for me to fix this in any way so I don't have to completely download everything again?

    Hello Wolfyhiro, unfortunately when you connect an external Hard Drive on the PC, you want to reinstall from scratch most games, this is because the identity and path in the registry and changed and the App can not access the games.

    Some add-ons should they not show up on the ready to install in the game menu itself, have to be looked up manually in the store and then installed for free so long as you have that active subscription. However, I can confirm that the only edition of Fallout
    4 appearing on Game Pass is the standard edition. You can purchase the DLC at a discount with an active GP subscription but none of the DLC is free to download with GP as of right now.

    Are you on console or PC? The PC version (should it be on GP) may appear as the GOTY version, but as of now, the standard version's DLC is unavailable for free with GP.

    Sorry, even if you drag and drop or copy and paste that folder from your Flash Drive on your PC to the desktop, it's gone. You would need to start over again.

    I have the 4g model. I dragged and dropped that "$systemupdate" as a whole file into the flash drive. That's the only file that shows up in the flash drive.
