Even if you don't receive the email but it shows as approved, you should receive the refund money within 3 to 5 business days, as that is generally the time it takes for the money to be reflected. However, this timeframe may vary depending on each bank.

The first place to start would be to fill out the refund request form at the following link

Which by your post it sounds like you already did this.

It then does take time for the Microsoft (MS) refund request team to review your request then if they determine you are eligible for the refund they will give send you an email in response.

You should also get an email shortly after submitting the request that you can respond to and they would get back with you on the status of your refund also.
