    I have all evidence it`s my epic games account, and I want to change the login method, but nothing works. it`s linked to an email I cannot remember propperly. Tried for HOURS now. please help

    gamertag not changing

    this is because fortnite is an epic game and therefore uses your epic account linked to the microsoft account, you need to log into epic and change the name there which is free to do.

    it wont change in fortnite as that game uses the tag setup on the epic account, you can freely log into epic and change that tag every 2 weeks.
