Some of the most recommended soul farming places include the second bonfire in Tomb of the Giants, killing the humans in Darkroot Garden (just don't do it while you're in the Forest Hunter covenant) and the Phalanx in Painted World. All those locations should
be perfect for you if you're still in NG instead of NG+ or anything above. Also, if PvP is your type of thing, you might want to leave a summoning sign at the Darkroot Garden where the Forest Hunters are. At your level I'm sure you'd be summoned to help out
in PvP so that can be a nice spot for souls.

At your level I think you'll have the most luck leaving your summoning sign in the Kiln as players at your level tend to have beaten pretty much every other boss already.
