I lost my Snowrunner saves!

I'm sorry to hear about your issue. If the system overwrote the save folder during the crash, there may not be much that can be done. I'm not sure if it will work, but you could try resyncing the data with the cloud, in case they haven'tt been overwritten too.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.

Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button on your controller.
Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.
Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.
At the end you must restart your console.

When you restart the console, it should sync the saves again with those in the cloud.

I hope that works out for you, but I'm not sure what else to suggest.

I don't think snowrunner have a manual save like that.

Only a slot save that you create/load and then it auto save periodically.

It seems this is a known bug within the game, in order to recover SnowRunner Lost Saves with Local Files, you will need to perform some basic troubleshooting steps, here's how:

First, navigate to your Snowrunner folder in My Documents > My Games

Then go to Base > Storage. This is where all current and backed up saved games reside. Your current save is in the folder with your profile number. It's long and different for everyone. For example: 49c7dab3181740079e712fdc7c7d03a. Your backup saves are in the folder Backup Slots.

In the Backup Slots folder is your profile ID again, and inside of that you can see multiple folders (mine currently has 5) for each time it's made a backup. The backup times seem to be random and I'm not sure what initiates it, that will require future testing.

Inside the backup folder you wish to recover are the files you'll need to copy and paste into your current saved game folder, located in Base > Storage > [PROFILE ID], overwriting in the process.

After doing this, relaunch SnowRunner on the PC to check.
