I lost my entire Xbox/Microsoft account because of a hacker

Yeah Ive got in contact with the account safety team and they pretty much told me that my account was just locked forever due to the security changes done on the account. It’s just frustrating that I can lose so much in just minutes due to a hacker. The hacker messaged me and sent me a picture of him on my account and it’s crazy what he got away with, it’s just not right. the guy hacked the account so he can get the stuff I had on a game which he just transferred all my items to his account then I’m assuming what he does is he just bombs the account so this happens and you can’t ever get it back. I feel like these security protocols are yes very safe but just not right to the owner especially if the owner has a lot of money spent and progress in games on that account and this really favors the hacker because he got what he wanted and had no repercussions. If I didn’t make the security changes on the account how does that make me responsible for the lost account I’m the victim and this cyber criminal shouldn’t be able to even access the internet after pretty much deleting my childhood. This guy is going to do this to more peoples accounts and most likely get away with it flawlessly.

Prepare for creating a new account

If the above steps don’t work, you may need to start fresh with a new Microsoft account.

Unfortunately, digital purchases and progress cannot transfer to a new account, but you can reach out to individual game publishers (for example, Mojang for Minecraft) to see if they offer any goodwill or partial restorations.

I know it feels unfair to lose everything, and it’s frustrating that Microsoft’s process can’t make exceptions easily—even in a hacking situation. So just because they jumped to conclusions and they thought I was the hacker on my girlfriends account and the appeal doesn’t let you type anything of the sort. They jump to the conclusion I was the hacker. Now I lost 10+years of games and everything else. Just because they won’t listen/ bad appeal process

that is the issue, the account is now under an another email Hacker

after I saw that my guy was a hacker, to settle the thing I tried to recreate a new account with my hacker account.. so the new account works for him but my old one I lost everything..

so, if I put my current address (the new creation).. it's sure that it works my address was released when the Hacker put his.. that's what Microsoft doesn't understand
