    The strangest part of this entire thing is that the recovery email is set to an email account that I just don't have the password to (it's a gmail email and I've only used accounts with the outlook ending), I've tried every password I've used over 10 years to no success. I need to schedule a call with someone on the phone because I've spent far too much time and money to lose this account in one day. I submitted account recovery requests and of course it didn't work, I've been trying to change the email that I can verify my identity with because there are plenty of accounts that I actually have access to. At this point there has to be someone I can get ahold of whether it be through this chat or the phone. I currently am locked out of my account... I can tell you all of the account information to prove that I am the rightful owner of the account, I'm just so shocked it didn't even allow me to use my phone number to recover the account, this entire ordeal is just shocking.

    Yes, I've changed my password and now it's saying my email and password is incorrect and I've just been signed out again. I thought I've secured all my assets. I double checked everything. Someone may be trying to gain access to my profile again :(

    I lost access to my original gamertag Pilsbury847 years ago, but got that one in 2004. My current tag () I've had for 8 years. I do wish I still had access to that original account, unfortunately I made it as a kid and used a friend's email address
    to register it. No idea on what the email or password was. RIP in peace mydude.

    Thanks for reaching out to us with this issue. I'm sorry that you seem to be having some difficulty in updating your account alias. If the email address that you wish to use has already been taken by another account that you don't have access to, then you
    would not be able to choose to use it as the primary alias on your existing account.

    That being said, you can always use a different email address that you do have access to as a new alias (email address for log in) on your current account or create a new email address to do so. I'm including some links in this post that may be of use to
