    I lost access to an account with recurring billing activated


    I made a temporary account for a friend so we could play online together used my credit card to get one month of Game Pass Ultimate and then I lost the password. The recurring billing is still activated, I entered a wrong password too many times so it¡s blocked now , and the recovery system rejected my request once already because I don't remember some details like gamertag or what date of birth did I actually enter. I submitted the details of the credit card I used though, as well as the address and others correctly. What else can I do if it still gets rejected?

    The recovery form it's the only way to recover an account, I would recommend that you use real information if you are creating a Microsoft account so you don't have this situations

    If you can't get access to the account and you only want to deactivate the subscription, you can contact the bank

    Hi,

    Yes ! Since you activare a subscription with recurring billing you'll need to add a payment method.

    But after you activated the sub you can turn off recurring billing in your account settings.

    An email can only be associated with one Xbox profile, if you are trying to disable recurring billing for your account, you can do so by logging in at this link

    https://account.microsoft.com/services

    There you will see the active subscription and the option to disable recurring billing.

    If you do not see the active subscription there, verify if the charges are coming from that account by visiting your purchase history:

    https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

    If not, check the history of any other email address you have access to.

    Activate free month of Game Pass for PC on Child Account

    None of these suggestions solve the problem.

    The account has never had a GamePass for PC subscription.

    The account is part of a family group because it is a child account.

    We are trying to use the GamePass for PC offer that is on the top banner of the Xbox app on my child's PC. We click the link, enter our billing information and get the error message: "You don't have permission to do this. An adult in your family needs to turn on recurring billing for you." We follow the instructions to "turn on recurring billing" but those instructions require an active subscription. The subscription can't be activated without recurring billing. Recurring billing requires an active subscription. It is a endless loop of frustration.

    If activating a free trial of GamePass for PC is not an option on a child account, please stop advertising for it on child accounts. Or fix the bug in the system that created this loop so that you can give the next generation of GamePass subscribers a sneak peek at this platform.

    Dear Xbox, on my account LilPeanut360 it says I have activated automatic recurring billing on my subscription whixh i did not and now i jave to pay $10 plus taxes but I am positive that I did not activate recurring billing so I might change my console
    to Ps4 since it seems like your console is not working correctly and saying I activated recurring billing.So please turn it off before I change my mind and change my console to Ps4
