If you had a phone number attached to the account, use that instead of the old email address

Please note that no one here including regular Microsoft Support is capable to send password reset links for security policies

Or, no matter where you tried to sign in with your existing email the same “account doesn’t exist” message appeared?

When I tried logging in, it made me make a new account (as stated before) but I had some friends search up my account and it was still there. I had no errors with signing it. It just made me make a new account.

thanks for the help but i have access to my microsoft account the hacker switched the primary alias and took my minecraft and xbox accounts and left me with nothing and microsoft made me make new accounts and made me buy minecraft again

. i recently got my new pc for christmas and logged into an account i just made. now when i try and get minecraft it makes me pay for it even when i logged into my original account that owns it.

Ok first and foremost you must download the xbox app and sign into it with your purchasing account and download the game

Then sign out and sign in with the new account on the xbox app

NOT windows
