    You would have to change the xbox live region which negates your xbox live for 3months

    Why did your friend gift you when its has a clear warning that it is region locked.

    I'm sorry to say that unfortunately gift cards are essentially region locked by their currency and that you will not be able to redeem this to a UK based account.

    Did you buy the correct regional giftcards?

    All giftcards are region locked

    Meaning you cannot buy uk or french giftcards and use them in a german account for example

    So if you buy uk points it can only be redeemed on an uk account

    You can check your balance at commerce.microsoft.com

    Keep in mind currency does not transfer between regions
