I left the Insider program for good this time...

For about 3 years now, I have been an active member of the Insider program, known as XBox One Preview Update program where the users can receive Alpha updates to test latest features. In the beginning, this was really exciting and I was very curious about
the new features. Now in later terms, this has become unpleasant and not so satisfying.

No matter what suggestions for improvements and new features have been sent in, even from me, I feel that Microsoft don't really listen well enough to the users, but continue to make their own ideas of what they THINK the users want, instead of actually
trying to live up to our expectations as possible. Seeing this was not the case, I chose to leave the Insider program, for GOOD this time...

The Insider program is better left to developers actually working closely with the XBox Team. Another problem with the Insider program is that Alpha updates can render your XBox unstable and buggy, because these updates are often small unfinished updates,
only to test new features. I feel it's much better to actually wait for complete, final updates that have no bugs at all. At least not unstable bugs causing problems for the XBox...

So no, I'm not returning as an Insider member anymore. From now on, I will only receive normal complete updates.

I still hope to see new features and improvements I so many times have mentioned must happen. These are:

1. Making it possible to edit 4k HDR Game DVR on XBox One X from EXTERNAL HDD into Upload Studio, even these that are up to 1H long. Also, the YouTube XBox app must be updated to have the Upload button back again...

2. It should be fully possible to add the 16:9 Full Letterbox view into the Blu Ray menu in XBox Settings, making it possible for the XBox One/S/X to view every DVDs using the whole screen of the TV, and not the small 4:3 screen on HDTV, that being Full HD
1080p TVs or the new 4k HDR TVs. Nobody, and i repeat NOBODY want to see DVDs in small 4:3, when the point is to enjoy the view in 16:9.

In addition to this, DVD movies on XBox should be upscaled to 1080/50p, while normal Blu Rays should continue to be upscaled to 4k/24p.

I have no further comments. Now I will enjoy these normal, complete updates, and no longer Alpha buggy updates.

Halo MCC insider program Trouble

hey, I have signed up for the halo mcc insider program last week also at the time I signed up to the Xbox insider hub app,

I have the email saying I have been accepted into the insider program, but yet I can’t access this on the Xbox insider hub app.

Please help! Been waiting for a long time to play this

P.s I have contacted Xbox support and have said my account is all verified and good

If you'd like to stop participating in the Insider Preview program, you'll want to refer to the

Xbox Insider Program FAQ under "I sold my console or no longer wish to participate as an Xbox Insider. How can I stop participating in the Xbox Insider Program?"

It can take some time for you to be removed from the program as you may need to wait for another Insider Program update in order to stop participating.
