I keep seeing the "Dx11 feature level 10.0 is required to run the engine"

Hi,

If you've updated your graphics card drivers and you're still seeing this message it means that your graphics hardware (and I'm assuming it's integrated), doesn't support DirectX 10 at the hardware level.

The DirectX12 software layer is installed as part of Windows 10 and 11 and is backwards compatible (in a software sense) with all previous versions of the DirectX graphics API. However, having DX12 installed doesn't mean your PC supports it at the hardware level.

The game you're having issues with is probably an older title that came out before DirectX12, hence why the error doesn't say anything about DX12.

What this basically comes down to is that due to the age of your system you can't run this game as its not compatible.

If you've got a desktop/tower PC and a compatible power supply you can add a dedicated graphics card. If on the other hand you've got a laptop then I'm afraid you're out of luck and you'll need a new device.
