I keep hearing a beeping noise from my xbox and lasts for roughly 1 minute

I am sorry to hear about this issue. Does your Xbox power on but nothing appears on your TV screen? If so, please try the following steps:

1. Turn off the console by pressing the power button within 10-15 seconds

2. Wait for 60 seconds

3. Make sure to press and hold the BIND button and the EJECT button and then press the power button on the console to turn it on.

Note: If you're using All-Digital console (No Eject button, just press and hold the BIND button)

Make sure to keep holding the two buttons until the Xbox Troubleshooter page appears. This screen should show Offline Update, Continue, and Reset. If you see this screen, select Reset > Choose Keep Games and Apps.

- If the above steps fail, try using a different TV to see if it works.

- If your console turns on a second then turn back off, try plugging your Xbox to a different wall outlet, or plug the Xbox directly to a wall outlet without a power surge.

If the above steps still don't work, I think it would be best to register your console online to explore options. I am pretty sure that there is a hardware-related issue with your Xbox. To get started, sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/devices/select-de..., select Register new device using the 12 digits serial number located at the back, and then follow the instructions.

After you've registered, you'll see the warranty status for your device. If it's within warranty, repairs are free. If your device is out of warranty, you'll be charged a repair fee. Another option would be visiting a computer repair shop and repairing it there.

Another quick question. Is it normal for the XBox to make a weird noise every few minutes. It makes a high frequency noise (like a beep) for around 1 second every few minutes. It also makes this noise on startup?

Doesn't sound good. Any crackling or beeping doesn't bode well for the hardware.

Try another factory reset and delete everything as a last resort and check this support for further steps to take.System

I cant get it into Low Resolution mode??

Press and hold the Xbox button  and
the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second
beep. Don’t let go until the second beep occurs.

I do this....

you hear the eject button.......

then the 2nd noise is the power off noise?

(after the power off noise happens then you can hear the system boot noises through my PC speakers.... then it powers off)

And all the time working fine on my HD PC monitor

the guess of it being the hard drive or a disk in the drive just doesn't make any sense.

The Console is off , i try to turn it on.

Rather then hearing the beep and seeing the green light as the system turns on.

I hear a strange noise , the green light for a second and system does not turn on. , If i try again , the noise might happen , the light will not , and system still stays off.

This can continue for a few minutes , or until i say screw it and leave it alone for 10 minutes and try again.

With further testing , no cd in the drive , no hard drive in the xbox , and switched to using red/white/yellow cables rather then hdmi , still get the noises.
