    I keep getting the error code - 0x803f9006


    I keep getting the error code - 0x803f9006. We have an Xbox series x and an Xbox one. We have the home device set as the series x. One is trying to play a game (tried several) and it keeps coming up on the Xbox one - the person who bought this needs to sign in. This results in the Xbox series x being kicked out of their game. Any help appreciated?

    I have tried to get through to Xbox support but it is not working.

    If you're trying to share a game on Xbox One console, make sure to set the account that owns the game as Home Xbox on Xbox One console. To do it, here's how;

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

    3. Select Make this my home Xbox.

    Thanks. We have setup the Xbox series x with the account that owns the game as the home Xbox as recommended by Microsoft. We tried to set our old xbox one as home but have now ran out of attempts as we tried different things to sort it?

    If you ran out of attempts, you can try answering the survey by following the steps below;

    1. Set the account as home Xbox on the Xbox One console.

    2. When you see the message that the account no longer have switches, click Help.

    3. Kindly check for the option or message, Need more switches?.

    4. If you see the option, follow the steps to have a one time exemption.

    NOTE: Microsoft Support and Tech Experts Do not have the Ability to Reset this.

    If the option is no longer available, I'm afraid the only option to get an extra switch is to wait for your next eligible switch.
