Discus and support i keep getting "something went wrong-cant render your clip" in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; this problem started yesterday, I went to upload a clip to xbox live & onedrive and kept getting "something went wrong" errors.     i keep getting "something went wrong-cant render your clip"


    this problem started yesterday, I went to upload a clip to xbox live & onedrive and kept getting "something went wrong" errors. I tried only uploading to xbox live, deleting and reinstalling upload studio. I cant figure out what is wrong, please help.

    occasionally upload studios slow/unable to upload

    The last few days i was unable to even upload any clips, as soon as it would go to render the clip it would say "something went wrong-we couldn't render your clip". I had to do a complete factory reset to solve this issue. But im having upload studios occasionally
    upload slowly or just say it couldnt upload to onedrive (which fixes if i hit try again a few times). My internet nat is open, upload and download speeds are normal.

    Upload Studio clips will not share

    Over the past week when I have finished editing my clips the rendering portion is working but it is not uploading. I get the error : Sorry, something went wrong there...

    I only have two options, "Discard video and start again" or "Retry failed providers." I'm not getting the full cloud notice in my uploads either.

    well it appears that this problem isnt just resident evil clips...

    i cant even upload or find the clips i just recorded for battlefield hardline....

    they are not even on smartglass on my phone....

    the rendering process on upload is fine but as it starts to upload you get the "sorry we cant upload your clip"

    Sorry to hear it. If power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds doesn't work then you may need to try a factory reset. There is an option to keep installed games and apps on the console so you won't need to redownload
    them.

    The solution to this problem is a factory reset (keeping games and apps):

    If you can not reset your console via the settings menu as seen here:

    Settings > System > Console Info & Updates > Reset console > "keep games and apps".

    You will need to reset your console in a pre-boot state:

    1. First, eject any discs.

    2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    3. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

    4. Press and hold the BIND button (to connect controllers) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox power button on the console. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

    7. Select to reformat the console keeping games and apps.

    If that does not work you will need to factory reset the console using the USB method. This will erase everything on the console:
