    If I create a party chat friends can join me and party chat is fine. But if I try join a friend's party chat it just keeps giving my connecting and then disconnects me. We have even tried that the owner of the party chat that I joined on leaves and then join on me again and that doesn't work I have to create a new party chat so for friends to join me.

    My NAT is open and UPnP is enable. Please if anyone can assist.

    Xbox 360 Xbox Live Disconnecting when In Party

    It's still doing this.. all over the weekend, every time I joined a party or my friends joined my party I got disconnected from live and had to sign back in to live, once signed in it was fine..

    I don't have this issue on the XO, I can join party's, or have friends join my party and it's fine..

    What device are you trying to join the party on?

    Additionally, and as a first test, please try connecting that device to another network, you could configure your smartphone as a mobile hotspot.

    Windows 10 Xbox Game Bar Party Chat Drops Out or "Disconnects" With No Error Message - Only Silence

    This has been happening to me for a solid month now. I'm on Windows 11, trying to use the Xbox Game Bar to join a party with friends while we play Destiny 2. I keep getting disconnected from the party, but there's absolutely no alert that there's an issue. In fact, the overlay still shows me and everyone else in the party, but my name is the only one lighting up when I speak.

    It used to happen maybe 50% of the time. In the past two weeks, it now happens EVERY time I'm in a party chat while running PC. This is infuriating.

    The same thing happened to me. My buddy and I were in an invite only party, my friend invited his friend, when they were done talking, I kicked him, every time i do that, he joins back instantly, claiming it says "Disconnected from Xbox LIVE party"
