    i keep getting error code 0x8000FFFF when i try to start a party on the XSS


    i’ve done everything i can think of and even went as far as taking my xbox apart, cleaning it, AND reapplying thermal paste. factory reset unplug for 8 hours( i full power down and unplug it everyday i leave for work) and everything in between what people say try on here can anybody help me or am i done for? also my activision account had gotten hacked and banned and it was linked to my xbox account i don’t know if i could be shadow banned or what

    but it gives the same error and code on my other accounts

    Same problem for party chat and YouTube! Any help would be great. I have error code 0x8000FFFF for the party chat problem. Thanks.

    I'm having the same issues, party chat is blocked, it's saying I'm offline to my friends, and isn't getting past the loading screen in some games, not connecting to online services for black ops 3, etc… for the party chat I have error code 0x8000FFFF, and
    when I try signing out and signing back in, it doesn't let me sign back in at all, just shoes the error codes (different one both times I tried) 0x87DD000F, and 0x87DD0017, does anyone have an actual working solution to any of this?

    Having the exact same problem! I cannot start a party, I cannot join a party and I cannot view parties. I cannot view my social feed, change my status to appear online or access key Xbox live settings. I keep receiving the [0x800C0008] error code when I
    try to start parties and "There is a temporary problem with the service. Please try again." when trying to access Xbox live settings.

    Hi Brad,

    This happens when they try go into their account from the account selection screen on the Xbox. There is a secondary screen which comes up with an error code, which is 0x8000ffff.
