I keep getting an error while trying to leave the program.. I'm on XSX. Any help?

I dunno but i'm struggling to get him to leave Riverwood after i recruited him for the Blades, trying to keep the Blades a secret while he's standing there in full armour is impossible!

no pending updates, and I dont have any xbox services running because I am getting that error while trying to install the program. thats the whole problem here.

I'm not in preview program either and this has been happening for months. probably since the last officlal dashboard update.

Finally got Mafia II to download by leaving it on th active download screen as suggested.

I'm starting to think the background downloads feature if borked. Because I get this error whenever i'm downloading while playing a game, using an app or just browsing the dashboard. I also get it if I switch off the console while downloading. When I switch
back on I get the error.

I leave it on active downloads and it downloads just fine or maybe it's just coincidence. I've got a terrabyte HDD to fill up so I will be doing a lot of downloading to test this.

I have encountered this problem (0x405) on my laptop with Win10. I get the error when I try to connect to MS Mahjong/Jigsaw and if I try to download from the shop. Trying to update the programs from the shop is not an option as it indicates the programs
are installed. Are you therefore suggesting that they be uninstalled and then downloaded. (I tried that with NEWS - removing was easy but I keep getting the error message that I am not connected and therefore have not been able to reload. Any ideas?
