Have you an active Nintendo Switch Online Subscription? I ask this because I found the following Q/A on Minecraft Nintendo Switch FAQ:

I just got the new update on the Nintendo Switch for the Minecraft Bedrock Update. It worked great before the update. I was able to sign in. Now, every time I try to sign in, it brings a prompt for the code I have to enter on aka.ms/remoteconnect. I
put in the code and sign in. Then try to sign in on my Switch and it just brings up a code every time. It is very annoying because I want to play realms with my friends. Can someone give any insight on why this might be happening.

Are you referring to the FAQ found on Xbox Support, "Minecraft for Nintendo Switch FAQ"? Specifically
this quote,

"Where are Servers and Realms?

Realms is now available on Nintendo Switch by applying the latest game update. Servers will be enabled soon in a future update, stay tuned to our News Channel and other social media platforms to see the newest and latest features."

If so, I believe you are referring to Realms on the Switch which requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription purchased through Nintendo. You will also need to purchase a Realms subscription from Mojang to even get started. Open Minecraft and choose to
create a new Realm to see pricing for the Switch.
