    I'm, doubtful as well... it would be extremely unlikely, I think, and I've never seen any indication that clothes do degrade over time.

    I thought it was just that they start out looking dirty and some of them look like they were sewn by blind people using yarn, I mean, could Farengar look more tacky? I hate the mage's robes, though some of the mages garb is okay. I just scored complete Elven
    armor and it better not get dented!
