I just got a replacement power supply box

I just got a replacement power supply box but after my system shuts down the red light comes on and it's hard to get it started again. The power supply box also makes a clicking noise and you can see a slight green flash in the red light when it's trying to start

if the xbox does not turn off or has difficulty turning on, the cause is the xbox and not the source, since the source remains on. unfortunately the original xbox model has not been repaired by microsoft since 2019

considering they stopped making those a good few years ago i suspect its either used and is faulty, a refurb thats not been done properly or a third party dangerous one. i would ask the seller to refund or replace.

If your Power Supply box was hit during a thunderstorm at any point it could be a simple fix by just replacing the Power Supply box. I hope that is the case! It's such an easy fix!

wondering if you got advanced replacement just on the power supply or the whole console? I have a dead power supply and they told me advanced replacement was not an option just for the power supply.

I got a replacment for a loud power supply, I just paid for it since they won't do an "Advanced Exchange" on just power supply and never got any mail about returning the bad one. It's just a purchase of a new power supply after all, but this was in the
USA.
