    I just downloaded the xbox app for PC and the games on it are running very slow.


    I downloaded the xbox app for PC with game pass, and the games are running very slow. I have an nvidia geforce GTX 1650, 8gb of ram and an intel i5 and it can run intensive steam games perfectly fine, but when I try to run alien: isolation on it, it runs very slow despite being a not very resource intensive game. I think the xbox app games may be using my integrated GPU instead of dedicated, but when I change the type of GPU that the games use, it tells me I don't have access to the exe.

    Is there a way to stop the games from running so slow?

    Hi XBF,

    Thank you for the tips, I do note that these tips are for a actual Xbox whereas I use PC Xbox App. So definitely no games running. My brother uses actual Xbox in our house and his speeds are fine, over 30 mb/s it only seems to be the PC Xbox app that is slow at downloading (as noted I download games from Steam on same PC and speed is fine). Any recommendations?

    Leon, This problem is quite common. It means that you have configuration restrictions to access the servers.

    So you just need to configure your internet devices now.

    They are unconfigured, so have access restrictions, causing these errors.

    If you do not have knowledge, I advise you to contact the ISP that they will do for you

    set a fixed ip for the console/PC, open the ports described below, disable and enable the UPnP function and disable the modem firewall, if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

    Put console/PC IP in DMZ zone.

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    You can ask ISP(Internet Service Provider) for help

    Very slow downloads on PC.

    you will be downloading at 750Mbps (Megabits per second) not 750MB per second unless your net speed is 6Gbps which is very highly unlikely.

    I usually change my DNS servers on the PC to googles and i get higher download rates compared to using my ISP dns servers.

    I'm getting the same issue. What's really weird is that it was okay at first, downloaded a couple of games just fine, but then it became incredibly slow at some point and any solution I've found online regarding Delivery Optimization and other network settings did not help.
