I just can see default skins in Minecraft Java from Microsoft Launcher

If i buy Minecraft Dungeons from the Microsoft Store will it be available in the Minecraft (Java) Launcher, or will it be like Minecraft Java vs Bedrock?

Hi Manuela! Yes, i paid for it today, i got the minecraft launcher from the microsoft store and purchased it from the launcher but on the microsoft store it says i have both java and bedrock. Yes i tried to update my account purchase status but it just says i only have bedrock, and i can only play the demo of java.

If the issues are on the Java launcher installer, please, log in the Microsoft store app with the account that made the purchase then look for the Minecraft launcher and install it from there then log in in the launcher with the account that made the purchase on the java section and finally install the java edition

Minecraft events and promotions often award capes that you can equip on your character to show your participation. After a cape is granted or you redeem a code, it appears in the dressing room of your Minecraft: Bedrock Edition profile. Capes are often granted to Minecraft: Java Edition profiles at a later date only after participation ends.

If you want to receive your cape on your Minecraft: Java Edition profile sooner, you can try to activate it by signing into Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Here’s how:

Wait for notification that your cape was granted or redeem your code.

Start the Minecraft Launcher.

Sign into the Launcher using the Microsoft account you use to play Minecraft.

Start the latest release of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

Select Dressing Room and locate your item in the appropriate section.

Exit Minecraft: Bedrock Edition after you verified that your item is available in the Dressing Room.

Sign out of the Minecraft Launcher and close the application.

Restart the Minecraft Launcher and sign in again with the same Microsoft account.

Select Minecraft: Java Edition in the Launcher.

Select Skins.

Highlight the skin you are currently using.

Click … and select Edit.

Click your cape and select Save & Use.

It is important that you sign out and restart to make sure Minecraft: Java edition reconnects and finds your cape. If the process above doesn't work, you may need to wait until the official Minecraft: Java Edition cape grant after the event or promotion end date.
