You're correct, Jesse. If other disc games are working just fine it means that it's the disc itself. You may need to get a disc replacement.

I've tried a different disc and it worked fine, I was hoping it was just a bug but after the 50th time trying it im starting to think its the disc..I don't have another console to try it on either

It can be an issue with the disc itself or the console disc drive.

Have you tried using a different disc on your console to check if the same issue will occur?

Also, if you have a different console where you can try to insert the disc that would be great.

I've deleted the game pass version of both games. It will not even begin to install off disk. All other games work. This was an issue with PUBG for months. I just purchased Sea of thieves yesterday and haven't had it on my system in months. I put the disc
in nothing happens. But before that I had the same issue with PUBG. I deleted the gamepass version and went to install it off the disc I just bought and it would not recognize the disc

If you select one of the DLC cars and go towards purchasing it does the pop up still ask if you want to use X number of Credits?

Sounds like it actually downloaded and installed the digital version of the game rather than a disc install version.
