    I just bought Minecraft Standard Edition from their website and only received Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Can someone tell me why I spent 30 euros and didn't receive the Java Edition?

    Minecraft Java can only be bought from the Minecraft Launcher, or directly on the Minecraft website (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft...). The discount is only for Minecraft for Windows, which is a different title (very similar, but it isn't the classic Java edition).

    Sorry to hear you have purchased the incorrect version you were looking for. From what i'm looking at it looks like the Minecraft Java Edition is unavailable through the Microsoft website and you will only receive the Windows 10 Edition.

    I was able to find this link through the
    Minecraft Website     that shows where to purchase the Java Edition.
