    I did actually hooked up my HDMI cable out to TV in the input jack for a couple seconds but did make a vibrating hum did I screw it up ? It is a Xbox One X maybe three years old.

    Hey Superman959 I don't think you can install anything from a disc to a flash drive but you may be able to download it first to a hard drive then move it to a flash drive however that involves buying a hard drive.

    Many people are having this problem. Only install the install disc. Flash drives that are not 100% Xbox comparable are having this issue. If possible clear up hard drive and install on hard drive. . If not try another flash drive if you have one.

    Hey Rusty,

    I've seen this problem happen a couple of times where the Xbox 360 will continuously reboot upon trying to play/download/install a game. Usually, this points to a problem with the hard drive not being able to read/write to a certain portion of the hard drive.
    You should be able to test this by removing the hard drive and trying to use a 16GB Flash Drive in its place and installing the game to that.

    If you're able to play or install the game or games to the USB Flash Drive, it's likely that the issue is with the hard drive and not the console itself.

    Is this an internal flash drive or an actual hard drive?

    Some games require an actual hard drive & wont install on the internal flash drive.

    I’ve tried all of the following already, am I right in thinking I only need OSU1 for the Xbox one X? Or do I need the OSU2 and OSU3?

    Even with the new OSU1 installed sometimes the Xbox will continue to stay on the green Xbox screen. Am I right in thinking the hard drive is corrupted somewhere and not allowing it to work properly?
