I hear that 360 Xbox live is shutting down this year.

Will I still be able to play a third of my games library which are 360 games?

If not I guess I will have to pack in gaming.

Don't think I could look at my library with a third of my games unplayable.

That amounts to over 2 hundred games.

No snide comments from Sword of Whedon thank you very much.

There has been no official announcement stating the 360 servers are shutting down this year. Until there is an announcement made, we won't know how games will react once the servers are shut down.

So it's just rumour at the moment.

Probably will happen soon seeing as the Industry is in disarray with Corporations shutting down Studios and destroying anticipated games whilst offering slop, put to shame by similar games released 11 years ago.

Personally I only see about 2 titles I'm interested in and nothing on the horizon.

It's a good thing for me as I can concentrate on my library although beset with time consuming technical problems.

Nope. Or at least extremely doubtful. Put it this way. It took them 5 years after the release of the Xbox 360 to shut down Xbox Live for the original Xbox. I can see many years still left in the 360.

Just making sure, you do mean an original Xbox, not a 360 or One? Live was shut down for the original Xbox years ago so it will no longer connect.
