I haven't gotten my Diablo 3 Legendary item.

I linked my Xbox One with my Battle.net account to get the Legendary item in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition and I haven't gotten anything. I contacted customer support and they sent me here for help.

Xbox One: Destiny or Diablo 3?

My recommendation would be based on if you would have friends playing with you. Destiny is boring as absolute shit if you don't have friends to play it with, but Diablo 3 can be played with or without friends and still be fun. The loot on Diablo gets to a point where you no longer care that you got a legendary, because you've gotten 10-30 already whereas Destiny takes a lot of grinding to get some good drops, but when you do get those drops it feels great. I have 3 days and something hours (probably close to 4 days) of actual gameplay and I've only ever gotten one legendary drop from enemies (full legendary gear, but I bought most of it)

The exact same thing is happening to me. I just purchased the game, downloaded it, and now I'm hesitant to start playing anywhere past level 2, because I want the legendary items. PLEASE HELP ME!

as far as i know there is an item box ingame where it should be.

if you correctly linked your accounts, sending the item is an ingame Action and would be processed by Blizzard.

 

I finally found my legendary! It just wasn't well communicated on where to get it. I was expecting a tool-tip to pop up or maybe some mail or something. Turns out it's in the "Stash" chest in town. The item is called Signet Ring of the Blizzard.

Hopefully that will help others find it sooner than I did and with less pain.
