    I just get a bill from my credit card but I haven't chose the gold service.

    Can I get the redeeming?

    Why are we paying for free services like YouTube and Canadian TV?

    True, nobody forces anyone and I choose not to have Gold membership and I choose to point out that the services are expensive in Canada compared to the same XBox Live offering in other countries. In fact we get less, but pay more. I choose to voice my
    opinion about it. If the majority of people choose to get screwed by MS, then fine. I choose to use free services elsewhere, but still reserve the right voice my opinion about it as a consumer. Geez, why bother.

    Still a gold member with no valid credit card on account?

    I never got the chance to update my credit information .Now with the auto-renewal happening, they keep sending me e-mails telling me my credit card has expired and they cannot bill me. However, I am still a gold member, and the auto-renewal was to take
    place on 9/21/11. I know I can just call them to cancel my account, but what will happen to my account? I'm not sure I understand why they're still allowing me gold membership even though I haven't paid (Regardless, I haven't used the xbox live service at
    all since I haven't been on my xbox in 2 months, I just know this through their website).

    All ready paid the amount but it says insufficient funds

    Did you have any subscription with recurrent billing enabled?

    - Go to the Services & subscriptions page.

    https://account.microsoft.com/services

    - If prompted, sign in with the Microsoft you're currently using

    - On the Services & subscriptions page, locate your subscriptions and then select Manage.

    Do one of the following:

    - If you see a Turn off recurring billing link, choose it to turn recurring billing off.

    - If you see a Cancel link, choose it to cancel the subscription.

    You might be given the choice to get a refund for unused time.

    If you choose to get a refund, the subscription will go into reduced functionality mode immediately.

    Otherwise, you'll have access to your subscription until it expires.

    - If you see a Turn on recurring billing link, it means recurring billing is already turned off.

    - If you don't see options for Turn off recurring billing or Cancel, but instead see Paid with and None, it means your subscription will end on the date specified in Expires on.

    Follow the prompts to turn off recurring billing.

    You'll have access to your subscription until it expires.

    Sometimes you have to bend the rules to get what you need. In this case, what I usually advise is to go to the system where you can choose "contact us" and select the reason
    for your request. If you choose "service & billing", then "I don't recognize a charge", you should get the option to request a callback. It may pop up with a mention of billing on "Rocket Arena" in some regions (it did in mine), but you can skip that and get
    to the rest of the options.
