I just want to confirm when did you last successfully signed in to your Xbox account? If you have not logged into your account for more than two years and it has been closed due to inactivity, you will not be able to use the Account Recovery Form to recover your account. Did you have two-factor authentication (2FA) active on the account? If you do have the 2FA active, are you able to access the second factor of authentication? If so, please try resetting your password. Important: The account recovery form can only be used if two-step verification isn't turned on. If the feature is enabled, the only way to recover the account is to regain access to your two-step verification phone number.

Microsoft takes account security very seriously, that's why Account Recovery is an automated process with no human influence. If you don't have the correct information, you may not be able to get through account verification using the Recovery Form.

The Account Recovery Form requires adequate information to prove that you are the owner of the account. The Account Recovery Process can be a time-consuming process, but providing as much info as possible from the start of the process will increase the possibility of being verified by the automated process. You'll need to keep trying until you're verified by Microsoft.

Remember to use a familiar device from which you've frequently accessed your Microsoft account, as well as a familiar location. Microsoft will review your responses and respond within 24 hours. By the way thank you guys so much for the advice. I really appreciate all of the input from everyone.

Also, yes I haven't been able to log on to the microsoft account website successfully with any method including PC. I've also tried resetting my password assuming my password is faulty. But that doesn't work after I try to login with the new password.

Also I don't know why Microsoft doesn't have any admin abilities because my account is stuck in a blackhole, and they realize it is too.

Still no solution has been found for my problem. I haven't been able to update my console because I don't have a TV that works with my Xbox one because my cat broke it... Does anyone know if there has been an update to fix this issue?

My whole issue is that I can't get the code sent to my phone number. If I was able to get a code sent to my phone number I would be able to recover my account.

At this point I fully believe there is a bug in the password reset system because I haven't been able to have a code sent to me for days because it said that I requested too many codes today and to try again tomorrow.

So all my information is just gone. My Xbox and all my games are just useless now? All because your password reset system is garbage?

I can't access the account page on my xbox because I am not connected to xbox live. I do not know the password to my old email account. I don't know how I am going to change my gamertag to the account I want without being able to access the account page.
