I have Xbox Live Gold and EA Access Subscriptions. Cant get Battlefield 1 free as its also on ...

I have Xbox Live Gold and EA Access Subscriptions. Cant get Battlefield 1 free as its also on EA Access so it only shows up as "Play this with EA Access, or Buy it to Own", not "Buy for free permanently with Xbox Live Gold".

Therefore, if I don't have EA Access later, I also won't have Battlefield 1 because it's not allowing me to buy it for free with Xbox Live Gold.

I have tried signing out and in again, on both my Xbox and my Windows 10 laptop, with both Microsoft Edge and Firefox.

Any ideas?

anyone with an active subscription to EA Access can download the Second Assault expansion pack for Battlefield 4 starting January 29 and through February 28, free of charge.

All you need to do is find it on the EA Access Hub app on Xbox One.

Battlefield 4 is itself part of the games available through EA Access, without any DLC. This is will be the first piece of DLC to added to the game through the service.

another positive addition to ea access.. i mean bf4 is already in the vault.. so it is good news they may dabble with free dlc for vault games as well.. it may open the door to more ea access content.. i kinda figured at first they would be on a 2 month cycle for game content.. it may shorten that time frame all together... it also helps them keep games active that would otherwise die out... all in all i think ea is doing well with ea access and how it is running so far.

i am tentatively waiting till after september1st.. see what games with gold gives us...

i actually have the money in paypal waiting to be deposited or go to ea access.. i will get the full year if i do it.

so i had a idea of sorts... i wonder if ea will be more inclined to release vault games to games with gold.. concidering they will have an ea subscription where a older game would get more play (nfl,nba ect ect) than it should.. how would you guys feel if say bf4 was given away for free with games with gold and it be in the vault..

i am also curious to how many games they plan to vault in a year.. i know ive said i could see 1-2 a quarter added but in reality xb1 dosnt have that many games produced by ea to really fill that number.. i wish they had moere of a layout or transparent plan with how ea eaccess will work..not that iw ould be pissed at 2 games in a year added but i dont think i would feel it was worth the money unless it was a much bigger game.. its not like ea is making xbox id indie games..

so who all has anything to say about ea access..

 

I only have 2 days left to redeem the current Xbox Live Gold Battlefield 1 game.

The other 2 games currently on Xbox Live Gold, I have added to my account without issue.

 

Try to contact the official support via
https://support.xbox.com/contact-us so they can immediately cancel your EA-Access membership, then you can "rent" the Battlefield 1 game via Games with Gold.

Be aware, that you don't "buy for free permanently". A Xbox One Games with Gold game will stop working when you don't have an active Gold membership. The game is for you to play only if you have an active Gold membership.

After you got the game via GwG, the support should then re-instate your EA Access membership if possible, or refund you the remaining EA access time, so you can buy the EA Access again.

 

I had already downloaded "Battlefield 1" through EA Access, but was able to claim the game. You may want to try and get it through

the website. On the site, you should see the option to "Get" the game in place of "Buy".

Incidentally, Xbox One Games With Gold titles are available for 30 days, not the 15 days that Xbox 360 GWG titles are available, so you have until November 30.

I tried the option of going to the website Randy suggested, however for me it only shows "Buy" for $50.

Thank you, I understand all the games in my Live Gold are only while I have an active Live Gold. I have it subscribed for the next 3 years already, so I should be good with that

I will go to the contact-us web site mentioned next and see if that helps with this issue.

Have you tried to
remove and add the profile back to the console. Once you add the profile back, then try and get the game.

Uninstall the game , sign into the app on you phone and download from there , it will then make a note of it as being bought with the games with gold .
