    I have xbox game pass, but the app still wants me to buy the included games


    I have a game pass subscription and am trying to get the games included in the subscription (flight simulator in this case)

    - I have an "Xbox game pass for PC" subscription. It's active on my account settings page.

    - None of the games let me download, they prompt me to pay the purchase price.

    Just had the same problem with a new gaming PC and refreshed with all the updates from MSFT. I tried to download the standard version shown above included with gamepass and it wanted to charge me.

    Game Pass on both platforms.

    Game Pass Ultimate includes Game Pass for PC. So yes, it can be used. Are you trying to download the games through the Xbox app or Microsoft store app?

    Also, keep in kind that Game Pass for PC does not have the same amount of games Game Pass for console has, so if you'll want to make sure you're downloading games that are included.

    I can see that you are having trouble playing Call of Duty Cold War on your series s Xbox. You can try these steps to resolve the issue:



    - Go to Settings > Account > Subscriptions and make sure your game pass subscription is active and up to date.

    - Go to Settings > System > Updates and download any available updates for your console and the game.

    - Go to My games & apps > Full library > All owned games and find Call of Duty Cold War. Press the Menu button and select Manage game and add-ons. Delete any add-ons or updates that are not compatible with series s.

    - Restart your console and launch the game again.
