I have Xbox game pass and I can't access my Xbox live

Can you tell us if there are any error messages when you are trying to play online or connect via Xbox Live? Also, are you accessing the Xbox Game Pass via Xbox One console, or the Xbox Game Pass PC?

If this is via console in order to connect to Xbox Live, the Game Pass version needed is the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. If it is just the regular Game Pass for console it doesn't contain Xbox Live so that might cause issue as well connecting. To check, just sign in via https://account.microsoft.com/services page to see what Game Pass you have in your account.

Also, if you are playing via console I suggest to try doing a hard reset by press and holding the power button of your console. Wait for a minute or 2 before you turn on the console then check if there are still issues.

I never set a pass code. When I went to log onto live it asked for a pass code, and it has never done this before. I can't access my settings from the xbox because I need to be connected to live.

No. I have set Home to my account. But for one, I can't access Game Pass Ultimate since it says the "join" option instead of the download option. And also, I can't access the sales or free games. So this is confusing me. Should I talk with an Xbox Employee
later, because if that was the case, I would still have access to Game Pass Ult. till June.

i have the same problem i can't access live but my wifi is up and it says xbox live is up when i test my connection

and then when it ask to sign in using email and pass i do that and i get an error code 80151011

Correct, but that still does not give him access to any of the games that I have already purchased, or access to the game pass, or access to Xbox live. He still would have to get his own Xbox live subscription and game pass subscription and purchase any other games he wants to download, all of which I have already paid for
