I have two Xbox gamertags

So basicallly I have two gamer tags one is Rey#7820 and the one on the bottom just says Rrey99. I'm not sure if this is a sync error because i used to be able to change the bottom one on social.xbox.com but i don't even think the bottom on should exist on the first place. Whenever i play Minecraft bedrock edition it uses the bottom gamertag Rrey99. I don't even have an option to change Rrey99 CAUSE IT SHOULDN'T EXIST. And it is NOT "oh the servers take a while to update". "you probably just changed it now". ITS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR A YEAR AND IM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO. so yeah.

At some point when you did change it, you changed your current gamertag but not the classic gamertag so it's kept the Rrey99 as your classic. There really isn't a way to get rid of it, you would just have to change it if the system shows the option when you change your tag.

Of course, when you get the chance, could you double check your xbox profile on xbox.com and see if the gamertag appears correctly there as well?

Thank you, it’s been one day already and so far Xbox app stopped showing the old tag, but still persists in Xbox live parties and my friends’ friend list. Thank you for the reassurance, and taking the time to reply. Fingers crossed.
