It seems that the problem is that you were not aware of the feature to make your in-game name separate from what you see on your profile, parties, etc your profile is most likely just displaying both usernames to make identification easier for players to
identify you. as for a solution well, there is no free one. the only way to change your username back is to pay the Gamertag fee and change both your usernames back. if you have any more questions about this, you can use this link for a walkthrough.

Okay that means the transaction has not been completed yet. I would suggest you to wait 24hrs to see if there was some kind of system delay.

If it doesn ot work after that time period contact your bank to see if the money was hel for some reason

Hello, yeah but you didn't understand my "question". My gamertag is available. I shouldn't have those numbers and I know it because I have the original gamertag that i liberated by changing it in the first place. I can give the support the e-mails of both
the accounts that had this specific gamertag before I tried to change it to have it on the right e-mail account.

So now, even if I know MYGAMERTAG is available, I still have the dumb MYGAMERTAG1687 instead of the one without numbers, and if I want the one without numbers, I can't because it says I already have it, so to fix this I should use a OTHERGAMERTAG to change,
then change again to MYGAMERTAG to have access to the one without numbers (because, as I said, I know it is available as I have liberated it in the other account)

So none of my changes were worth anything and if I want the one with no numbers I have to pay 2 time the change as it won't let met change for the same gamertag without the numbers

don't know why I should pay £236 to get my one x fixed ..had this console for a year and half think its disgusting when I have paid £500 ..so in total that's £736..i think I need to take this a bit further.. been with Microsoft 14 years spent a fortune
and this is how loyal customers get treated paying more amount of money to get consoles fixed ..warranty should be 2 years on the one x ..is there any other way I can get my console fixed with Microsoft without paying anymore money please ..thank you
