    All I want is for my daughter to be able to play multiplayer and change settings but it keeps blocking her and when I log in as parent I can only find some general settings for payment and screentime. I have removed any such limit since she have her own
    credit card and handle that herself.

    I tried removing her as child but that did not help.

    Spending hours frustrating trying to find a setting for apps and games drives me crazy.. (She is playing on Windows 10 we do not own a Xbox)

    Thanks Gringo what your telling me makes more sense than how "Mary Anne" was putting it in her lousy English. The other issue is my being able to block some of the internet access and prevent him from getting online and doing things. I have internet scheduled to be hooked up Sunday and if I can limit his access to the internet I may let him keep it. She was telling me that I could sign him up for a child account but Im not sure if he would be able to play Titanfall. If I continue to use my sign in maybe I can limit the access that way. It seems to me there was an option in the beginning to limit internet access. Ill have to check that.

    Hi,

    sorry for my english.

    I have set up my xbox one for 1 unrestriced account(parent) and one for my son(7).

    At point "access to content" there is no option for "off". I have set to 6years.

    Now I have set the Purchase choices to blocked but the child account can still download free apps and games.

    Where is my mistake?

    I want block all downloads.

    No you cannot set limits on a parent account as it is an adult account. you cannot change an adult account to a child account either. Any limit you set will have to be a physical limit you cannot use anything software wise since they are an adult.

    Always recommend starting a child off as a child account.

    I believe that just because your wife has access to content is because she does not have a child account, which would limit access to various content if it were a child's account, due to age restriction and other policies

    what type of account do you have ? parent account or child account . perhaps there's parental settings turned on and it's limited to 3 hours.

    I am trying to get my daughter setup so she can play (child account), and she is having the exact same issue.

    I've turned off all restrictions as far as I can tell.

    Still getting this error. Very frustrating.

    Convert regular account to a child account OR set time limits on regular account

    You would have to create a new child account for him in order to add limits. He would have to start over. It is not possible to transfer anything between accounts and it is not possible to put limits on an adult accout or change an adult account to a child.
