Discus and support I have tried 20 times to reset my password for some reason they're not doing it the codes... in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; For some reason I can't get into my account I've got a thousand games on Mike a $1,000 for the games on my account every time I type it in it screws up...     I have tried 20 times to reset my password for some reason they're not doing it the codes...


    For some reason I can't get into my account I've got a thousand games on Mike a $1,000 for the games on my account every time I type it in it screws up it won't give it to me it says I have to go reset my password I have tried over 20 times to reset it they give me codes it doesn't work I have lots of questions how do I recover my games I've tried everything to Microsoft to ask me this and pay for this and that I don't seem to be getting anything all I want is to reset my password so that I can get my games I lost my phone my original phone that I had my password and email on I have a new phone I do not have that email on my new phone however I remember my old email and my password I just can't seem to get them to access it originally I turned my Xbox on and it was glitching it kept telling me go to my settings my settings told me to reset everything I saved my game the reset everything and that's when I lost everything I have external hard drives which shows my games are on it but I cannot access any of them without my old email and my old password which I remember I just can't get it to access it it keeps giving me the runaround

    Yeah well I'm glad I got a reply that may inform you I had tried that recover password and recover that about 10 to 15 times I even had somebody on the phone who spent 2 hours with me and we couldn't get it to happen I filled out everything I did the Microsoft Edge I did recover email I did recover password I did the entire thing over and over and over they would give me codes and when I type in the code only thing I would do is send me to a different part to say well here you go and that would be it the code didn't work on the Xbox at all the code only worked on my phone to take me to a different part of their questionnaire I'm 72 years old I have stage 4 prostate cancer I'm going up to try and get treatments for it I was taking my Xbox with me so I can have something to do now the loss of all my games and everything I guess I'll just be sitting in a room alone thank you for your input but I have tried it all

    I have. I reset the password multiple times successfully after getting the code. But not getting it again for some reason.

    I get enter your email, ***.icloud.com to get a code after enter 2fa code. But after resetting it multiple times, I'm no longer getting an email with a code. I have no clue why.

    I have tried that method but as indicated in my original post, I do not have enough information to receive the code necessary to reset my Microsoft account's password.

    Um, small problem. When I go to the "reset your password" page, there's nothing there for selecting anything like "I think someone else is using my Microsoft account".

    It just brings me straight to the page when I have to type in my account name (or e-mail) and then type in the letters and/or numbers from the image thing. After this, it just says that it's going to send a verification code to my emergency e-mail, which
    it doesn't do that anymore for some reason. It stopped doing that after the second time I changed my password.
