Discus and support I have too many devices on my account even though I only have 3 so I can't run a game in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I cannot play Minecraft Windows 10 Edition because I have too many devices connected.     I have too many devices on my account even though I only have 3 so I can't run a game


    I cannot play Minecraft Windows 10 Edition because I have too many devices connected. Although I only have 3 devices connected and the limit is 20 altogether. I have tried deleting my old laptop from my device list which still didn't work. So I restarted
    my computer and tried again, it still didn't work

    Hey there Frothy!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to play Minecraft.

    Do you mind if I ask what kind of error you get? It would help to know what it exactly says.

    As far as troubleshooting goes, I would say to try and start off with
    Troubleshoot gameplay issues on Windows 10     since this is the only game this happens with.

    When you get a chance, let us know how that helped and what error you get if you do.

    Please, uninstall the game, power cycle your console, and then reinstall the game.

    After uninstalling the game, power cycle the console.

    Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 60 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    Plug the console power cable back in.

    Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    Finally, reinstall the game.
