I Have To Repeatedly Restart My Motem Just To Use Xbox Party

I'm honestly losing my mind. I don't know what the issue is, because my motem is directly connected into my Xbox. I shouldn't be having any internet connection issues, but I am. Every single time I want to use the Xbox Party to chat with others, my icon is stuck on "Connecting", I can't hear anyone and they can't hear me. After about 20 seconds, it falls to connect and I get a caution sign on my party telling me it failed to connect. I have to completely restart my motem just to get it to connect with no problems. After that, I can connect to the party.

It used to just be to restart my Xbox, but things just don't like being easy for me. Then, even after I'm done talking to a friend after I already restarted my motem, I go to join someone ELSE'S party and the same exact thing happens in the same hour. Why do I need to constantly restart my motem, which is directly connected into my Xbox so I shouldn't be having any issues, nonstop until my party chat works? I have no idea what else to do. I like to stream my games sometimes with friends, and I can't, because I can't talk to anyone. It's such a chore and I'm clueless of what to do here. Is it just my internet or is the Xbox bugging??

Yes, I have checked my NAT Type and it almost always says that it is Open. Did it this time and it still says it is Open.

I'm actually not exactly sure how to connect to a different network as I don't have one other than my own.

Thank you for the detailed information and I apologize for the trouble. Can you please check and let me know what is your current NAT Type?

Settings > General > Network Settings > Test NAT Type.

Also, if you can try a different network connection that would be great just for us to test it out.

I have tried removing my account and adding it back again, deleting fortnite and reinstalling it, restarting my Xbox, restarting my wifi and motem and router, none of it works for me lol.

I agree there is no excuse foe the party system to be this way it is taking away time with my friends and I mostly play xbox just to hang out with my friends so whoever is reading this like the top comment or anything for the party system to be better.
PS I tried unplugging the router and motem several times and it is not doing crap.

It may have something to do with your internet motem rather than your xbox, try resseting your motem and see if that fixes the problem next time
