    Can you upload a screen of the error and of your accountsettings (just the language and region, please block out all other elements to keep your account safe)? I suspect the gamecode is from another region which makes it incompatible with your account
    settings.

    Promotional codes that you get for free (or that dubious stores got for free and sell them sometimes to unsuspecting victims) have an expiry date.

    If you got such a promotional code, then there is nothing you can do.
