I have received zero points for over a dozen purchases made through xbox store since Feb 2016 ...

I was directed here from xbox live support chat... I have been a member of xbox rewards since Feb 2016, but have not received a single point, and have purchased more than 10 games since Feb, as well as renewed my membership - I'd like to know why I have
not received any points - help!

Not receiving the Microsoft Points for purchases.

I have made several purchases through the online Microsoft Store over the last couple months and the purchases are showing up on my account but I have not received the Microsoft Points for them. What can we do about it?

 

No points ever

I have been a member since 03/20/2016, I have never received any points yet. That means 0 zero, none, nothing.

I have spent approx. $225 in the Microsoft store since that date; and there should be bonuses for first time buying and playing free games, etc.

Question is: Where are they at?????????

 

Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from? In order to receive credits, you're purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

As of July 1, 2014, there are no offers to receive credits for renewing gold.

 

How do I receive 1 star VIP then? As far as i'm aware, I was to receive points for purchases regardless. Is this not the case?

 

Star levels are based on how much you spend in the Xbox Store each year on eligible purchases (subscriptions, in-game consumables, and preorders do not count towards VIP). You can see how much you need to spend for each level at

It's definitely possible to make purchases and not receive credits for them. As I said above, in order to receive credits, they have to be eligible for an offer on the site or VIP rebates.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at Xbox Live Rewards .

-or-

2. By earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game
consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

As of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals.
