I have received an enforcement ban

I have received an enforcement ban for 7 days due to a message being sent.

I would like to have this ban removed as this wasn't me who sent the message. We have an autistic son who is just learning to play Xbox as we've got him one for Christmas so I was letting him use mine to get used to it. I didn't realise he had sent a message.

We have sat him down and explained that he cannot do this.

We will be setting him up his own account when he receives his Xbox at Christmas with parental controls.

I hope you can understand this and lift my ban as soon as possible.

Xbox Enforcement Team can u please get back to me I have received an enforcement communication ban on my account and i have not done anything that is listed in the details.

Why is my console blocked from xbox live

If you have received a console ban these cannot be case reviewed by enforcement. You can view more about device bans at enforcement.xbox.com.

You would need to go to the enforcement site
here & file for a case review if eligible.

If your account was banned, you would have received a message about the suspension/it would have showed on the enforcement page.

Most of the time, a console ban is a separate enforcement action from an account ban.

Suspension length varies based on the severity of the situation and other factors (like having previous infractions). So it's entirely possible to receive a permanent ban without having been suspended before. However, because there does seem to be an issue with the enforcement site, I have a feeling most of the people who have received bans today are not actually permanently banned, but the enforcement team are the only ones who handle suspensions/bans and the enforcement site is the only place to get that information and until the site updates with any of that information, there's not really a way to know.

There is no set amount of times you can be suspended before you are permanently banned.

If a violation is severe enough you can be banned for a first offence.

If you keep receiving any type of enforcement action then eventually you will be perma banned no matter how far apart the suspensions are.

Once you receive enforcement action then that stays on your account record for ever.

Simple way to avoid a perma ban is to stop violating the ToU/CoC.

In that case, any idea how many enforcements I have left till im banned?
