    I have received a permanent ban because of my profile picture. The case review was denied....


    The first ban I got was very random and came out of no where. I submitted a case review but got denied with no explanation. After I waited the ban out I went to change my profile picture and when I changed it I got permanently banned. I feel like I have not done anything worth a permanent ban and only want my account back. Please help.

    Today I was Permanently Banned

    Hello Microsoft and its users, today my account I have grown up with was permanently banned. They denied my appeal within hours. I had reached five suspensions. It is really hard to let go so I thought I might as well give it one last shot. For starters there are many problems with the current suspension system in place. There is no feasible way to speak to anyone about. Anyways, In June I received a profile picture ban, it was deserved. But later that same day I got another ban, for the same picture. So I should only have one ban at this point. A month or two later I get banned for a group post, also deserved, said some stupid things. I made two group posts that day and only got banned for one, there was no time penalty on the ban just a warning like the last 2 (should have been one). Months later in November of 2022 I receive a ban for the other group post I made on that day. I was outraged. I received a three day suspension for an act I had committed months ago and basically had already gotten a warning for. Now I’m at four suspensions on my account when in reality it should only be 2, maybe 3. Little did I know that after five suspensions your account gets permanently banned. Fast forward to last night. I change my profile picture, in my defense it wasn’t even that bad, and it should have fallen into the community guidelines. This morning I discover I’ve been permanently banned. Appeal denied. I don’t know what to do. I feel like a permanent ban for this is too much. Especially considering I’ve been wrongfully banned in the past, even thought Microsoft says they don’t, they did. I was wondering if there is anything at all that I or anyone can do to save the account and get another appeal. It would mean the world to me.

    If your case review was denied then that's it.

    The only people who handles bans are the enforcement team and the only way to reach them is by case review and you only get a single case review.

    Have been permanent suspended since 2nd October 2023 and I'm still suspended.

    A permanent ban is just that,permanent,meaning that account will never be unbanned.

    As your case review was denied then that's it,there is nothing else you can do to get the ban lifted.

    Recently I was using the toilet and my brother though it would be funny to change my profile picture and it has lead to a permanent suspension which means I have lost lots of money lots of progress on games and lots of memories from my childhood it has affected me quite a bit because there’s lots of stuff that I’ll never be able to get again there was an appeal but it got denied if anyone knows anyone I can contact or anything I can do it would be appreciated
    Support doesnt handle suspensions/bans so they couldn't help with this. The only people who handle bans/suspensions is the enforcement team and the only way to contact them is through the case review.

    If your review was denied then thats it. Nothing else can be done in that situation.

    thank you for your replay, i can assure you i am aware of the xbox live rules i have not violated the xbox live rules i was playing casualy then woke up to permanent ban i avoid toxicity with other gamers to avoid such penalties.

    i can't submit a case review i followed the step by step topic,i get (not approved),in the page of the case review option.

    my profile picture is not against xbox live rules.

    to make sure its a random ban, i did report my permanently banned account by an alt account... and got an enforcment act email and a SECOND permanent ban on top of the old one in no time, and this time it was an xbox live 360 avatar gamer picture not a custom one...

    How do I contact Microsoft enforcement team if I believe the case review was not fair?

    A couple years ago I had this account banned permanently banned for making my profile picture an inappropriate image. I filed a case review explaining that it was stupid and that I changed it back to normal pretty much straight away. It's been over three years and I still don't think the ban should have been permanent, although I do understand some sort of ban.

    I'm wondering how I can contact the enforcement team even after I have already completed a case review in the past.
    Long story short. You cant. If they upheld their decision there is nothing else you can do. The case review process is the only way to contact the enforcement team and you only get one case review.
