I have put money onto my sons account through Microsoft for the Xbox so he can buy VBucks...

Thanks for your answer, i asked the refund.

But after, how can i refund my money from the microsoft account.

I Bought XBOX and windows carte for my son "Marius" to put money on his microsoft account to buy Vbucks.

Now i know it's not possible to buy Vbucks for windows, from the microsoft store, how can i refund my money from microsoft account.

Because my son is very disappointed

I had the same problem and fixed it. I have 2 sons in my family sharing group and had added a payment card to each of their accounts. The problem seemed to start after doing that and today I spent 2 hours trying to work out why my son can't buy vbucks in Fortnite even though he had enough money in his account.

The fix was to log into each of their Microsoft account accounts using their login credentials (you can't do it through family sharing due to the error) and remove the payment cards. Once I had done that the spending page in fmily sharing works again and my son was able to use the oney in his account to purchase vbucks.

Please try to confirm if the purchase was successful by signing your son's account on account.microsoft.com > payment and billing > order history.

If the purchase was successful, please have your son launch the game Fortnite and check if you're able to acquire the V-bucks in-game.

If the purchase can't be found on the order history, please try to re-purchase the V-bucks again but please be mindful of clicking the purchase button multiple times to avoid purchasing a duplicate.

This can happen also if the purchase was refunded for some reason or another.

For instance the purchase was made and then it was disputed with the bank for some reason and Microsoft sent the money back to the bank and Epic would have then had to give the money back to Microsoft for the purchase they then would have taken the Vbucks
back off the account which if they were used would have then put the account into a negative vbucks balance.

You can check the status of an order like that by signing into your sons account at account.microsoft.com and checking the order history to see if there were any vbucks purchases that were refunded.

I would but I got it as a gift. I was not the person who purchased it. How am I able to even get those vbucks then? They are on my fortnite account, but the Microsoft account that I put it on is not even linked to my fortnite because my other one is. So what your saying is that I can not get those vbucks back and that since that account can’t exist then I just can’t have the vbucks at all? By all all I mean those vbucks only not the ones that I can buy. And what you are saying is that my friend spent 8 dollars of her hard earned money to give me a gift that I can’t even use???? That is so stupid that y’all can’t switch the vbucks to another account.
