You can usually just file a purchase dispute with the credit card company in this situation.

However, just like any online Eco system, such as Sony, Apple, or Microsoft, you can set it to require a passcode for purchases. I have seen many articles with this happening with iOS or Android in app purchases. It's a mistake on the parents part, not microsofts.

Truth when i was young my mom didn't let me use the credit card unless it was like an amazon order. There was no way in hell she was going to just give me a credit card and say have fun.

Every purchase i had to talk to her, I had to ask her for permission, I had to get the card and use it again.

All i see is another parent being lazy and blaming others for their own fault and lack of understanding. They know a kid can buy stuff because they gave them their card, next time make the purchase for them and require them to ask before they hit the buy button.

I never ever would have hit "purchase" because it was their, i would have waited and asked first. Teach your kids and you won't have to worry about how corporate do things, only that your kids follow the rules.Click to expand... I don't think they "gave" their kid the credit card. The card had probably been stored on the account. So you don't need the credit card information to make a purchase. You simply confirm your purchase. So its not like the kid needed to get the credit card and then enter in the information.

Hi ashrok03. If you finished the campaign and all of the nodes (enough that the boosters have stopped coming) then you should have all the cards with the exception of the premium cards which require purchasing booster packs.

Also, a payment method is required for free purchases because you still have to complete it like a normal purchase. Since the system doesn't see your Microsoft account balance as a band payment option, it requires a credit card or PayPal to be on file. The
only way around would be to make the purchase on a 360.

That is what I do, that's one of the reason I still have my 360. It's just annoying that I can't buy all my games on one system without putting in credit card info, that I don't because credit cards aren't really a thing here in the Netherlands.
