The HDD will save your game to help decrease load and wait times, however your disc will still run occasionally throughout game play due to security reasons.

I had the same issue when I let my cousin borrow my MW3 game, it stopped reading despite having the game loading unto the HDD. Having the game loaded unto your HDD simply optimizes gameplay for the above reason I gave you. Unfortunately, unless you downloaded
the Game on Demand, or buy a new game disc your problem will go unresolved.

New problem, I did the install trick by signing out. However when I try to start the game, the game STILL loads from the DISC, anyone else who have the same problem?

How installing works:



When a game is installed, it plays off the hard drive instead of straight off the disc. This allows for faster load times, and less wear and tear on your disc and disc drive.



However, you still need to place the disc in the drive. When you launch an installed game, the Xbox will read it to determine if it is a legitimate copy of the game.

Sorry to hear it. If it was a digital version that you owned then it would have shown up in the Ready to Install list. However, as you've said it was a disc version you will either need to purchase a new disc or digital version of the game.
