I have purchased a xbox series S which is suspended.

I purchased this console today for my sons 12th birthday from a private seller. I downloaded a few games and when trying to play rocket league it said that the console had a suspension.

I purchased this console fully reset with no accounts on it.

I have been trying all day to contact xbox support and the best i got was to do a case review.

I cannot do a case review as my account has 0 suspensions so i was told that their is nothing they could do.

I am out of pocket £200, xbox can simply fix this issue for me however chooses not to so what do i do next?

Sell it to someone else and have them deal with the issue?

The guy i purchased the console off has blocked all contact and it was a cash transaction.

Could anyone remove this suspension as it lasts until the start May and has caused today to be very inconvenient.

If you can’t offer a way for me to remove this suspension don’t reply to this post please.

Support doesn't really make the decision, but who speaks for the company, Microsoft is support, they are the direct contact with the customer, I'm just a player. As I told you there is no solution because after banning the xbox it cannot be unbanned.

I'm sorry that this type of problem is occurring, but banned consoles cannot connect to Live, this cannot be reversed, so support said they couldn't do anything about it, the seller knew this when selling the xbox to you. In general, these are very serious actions for this type of punishment and the xbox can only play offline games only. As a player I can only inform you, support always has the final decision.

You will just have to wait out the suspensions

Feel fortunately it's not a permanent console ban

From.the sounds of.it.it's a device suspension for using multiple accounts and ban dodging

If your child.didn't do.anything bad.yet.then I'd take it up with the seller

Unfortunately with used.devices it is buyer beware

Hi thanks for replying, support told me they have no say in the decision and you’re telling me support has the final decision. I need this sorted how can i get in contact with the xbox enforcement team? Other than appeal as that is not available for me as i am not banned on my account

It looks like you've purchased the Series S|X edition, which is for new generation consoles (Series S and Series X) and wouldn't be compatible with your Xbox One S.
