I have not received my halo war DE code

When did you redeem the code provided by Amazon? Once you redeem the code for Halo Wars 2, you should receive a code for Halo Wars DE within 7-10 days.

Codes for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition are no longer sent out for purchases of Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition. Now, anyone that purchases Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition digitally will automatically receive the game digitally. Try checking your Windows Store
library (or your 'Ready to install' list on Xbox One) to see if the game shows up there! Be sure that you are signed into the account that originally redeemed the code, as well.

To find your library on the Windows Store, click your profile picture in the upper left corner of the screen within the Windows Store. Keep us posted!

I can see Halo Wars DE in my Windows Store library, however trying to install it gives an error once it tries to acquire a license (error code is 0x803F8001). I have already had a lengthy chat session with support over that error, and they said the error
was due to my not having a license for Halo Wars DE, and that I had to come here to get the code for Halo Wars DE sent to me.

Halo Wars 2 is sitting on my PC, waiting for my Halo Wars DE code to arrive, It still puzzles me as to why we have to wait for a code for an item we bought already. I understand it's not to cause undue stress on your servers but the stress on the consumers
is not good for your business in the long run.
