Hello Tess,my name is Marvina, I will be happy to help you.

I am very sorry for what you are going through, I understand that you are having problems getting sound when you connect your Xbox One to your JVC 4K QLED TV. Here are some steps you can try to fix the problem:

Check that your TV is set to receive audio from the HDMI input your Xbox One is connected to.

To do this, go to your TV's settings menu and look for the "Inputs" or "Sources" option. Next, select the HDMI input your Xbox One is connected to and check that the sound is set to "Active" or "On."

Check that your Xbox One's audio settings are set correctly. To do this, go to Settings > System > Sound and video.

Next, check that the “Audio Output” setting is set to “HDMI” and that the “Audio Format” setting is set to “Automatic.”

Restart your Xbox One and your TV. This can fix any temporary issues with the devices.

Try connecting your Xbox One to a different TV. If you can get sound on a different TV, it means the problem is related to your JVC 4K QLED TV.

These are basic solutions to these problems, but they can lead to a solution, remember that this is a public forum where we are players like you who want to help, good luck and happy day.

    Sincerely,
    Marvina.

Best TV for XBOX ONE X

Older models may have only one HDMI input that works with 4k, also I know from my Samsung, that I had to activate the HDMI port for UHD 4K Colour. I would love an OLED or QLED Tv but my pockest are not bursting with coin, so will have to stick with my
old 4K Samsung, which supports everything but Dolby Vision. I am happy with it though.

Xbox One X no longer recognises 4K...

My xbox one x doesnt seem to recognise the 4K in my tv anymore... I have a JVC Fire TV Edition LT-40CF890. All the system requirements were previously met and now my only option is 1080 and 720p... I don’t know what happened... tried resetting both the TV
and the xbox, used new cables, tried different hdmi ports but nothing can get it back to when all the 4K system requirements were met! Please help guys!

Xbox one x not displaying 4K HDR

Hi, I recently purchased a new TCL 4K HDR TV. When I connect my Xbox one x directly to the TV I can only get a maximum resolution of 1440p, even though my TV definitely is capable of 4K. If I enable HDMI 2.0 on the TV to enable 4K I get no image, even
when I set the Xbox settings to 4K. Regardless of what settings I use I can only get 1440p, not 4K, disappointing as this is why I updated my TV.

TCL want to exchange the TV as it may be faulty, I think it may be something more simple? I tried different ports, HDMI cables, hard resets and everything I can find online, still no 4K, ahggggr!
If you have tried different HDMI ports with different cales without result, accept TV exchange!

    Is the best option!
