I have no home Xbox switches even though I've never switched Xboxes

For some reason my xbox not only says that the Xbox one S that I use is not my home Xbox but it also says I'm out of switches even though I have never switched home Xboxes. Could someone have hacked my account?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You may have set the account as Home Xbox on a different console without you noticing it because according to Xbox support:

"When you add a new account to a console and don't set it to Lock it down during setup, we'll automatically make that console your home Xbox."

You can try to check if you're eligible to get an extra switch:

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select System > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

If you see the option "HELP" please click that and if you see a choice of "Need one more?" you may get an additional one by answering a quick survey."

Hello, sorry to say the Xbox Home switches will NEVER be unlimited!!

I am not using an AVR. I do have an HDMI switch, though. I am running the STB directly to the Xbox and then XBOX to HDMI switch to TV. I will try to run it without the HDMI switch when I get home. Also, I googled through some set top boxes and I think
that I have a Motorola DCT6412.

Hi, you are allowed a maximum of five home Xbox switches within the first year of the first of those switches.

There may be some circumstances where you can contact Xbox Support to request an additional home Xbox switch, though I can't guarantee they will do so. You can contact them at the following link: https://support.xbox.com/contact-us

basically, my girlfriend has used all of her home xbox switches without realising but when it comes to trying to get a final extra one theres no option to but shes never done it before and her home xbox is at her old mates house who she fell out with is there any way without waitin like weeks that she can get another one?

If its not giving the option for the survey (to get an extra switch) then there is no other way other than waiting for more switches as they become available.

Support doesnt even have the option to give extra switches anymorem
